You do not need to install anything on audited workstations!
The scanner will be launched either directly from the server, when users of workstations log into the network, or manually, in which case you just need to load the scanner file and small configuration file to the workstation. As a result of network scanning, scans are automatically stored in the network location from which the scanner is downloaded.
Scanning independent from the network can be performed using a floppy disk, a flash drive or sent by e-mail.
SoftwareCheck is installed on auditor's workstation!
As the database is not very large and the database server works efficiently in both network and local environment, the database from which you will retrieve scans of all workstations and load them to the database can also be created on your workstation.
